Recap of Friday night

6th street was a lot crazier than I thought it would be. There were people everywhere.

Started the night off by doing a few interviews which went fairly well despite the fact that my business cards are stuck in Chicago.

I seen a few random bands and seen the beginning of some movie before the cops stopped the (illegal) screening.

I met up with a guy I had met earlier in the day at the AA thing and we attempted to see Metallica’s secret show, by the time we got there they only had two songs left and so we just listened from across the street. OH THEN WE SEEN CHRIS FROM NSYNC which isn’t awesome to anyone but Amy but if you knew me from ages 8-11 then you know that Chris was my future husband. I basically told him he was awesome and we moved on.

I ended up losing the guy some how and then kind of just walked around and seen everything that was going on, a lot of bands we playing and I caught a lot of half sets.

I ran into some guy half way through and we talked about Bob Dylan and Judd Apatow and Arrested Development and veganism and everything. Dude was super bad ass.

Went to the Blackberry party and basically spent the whole rest of the night there.

Towards the end of the night someone was blasting FOB so I decided to walk down the street to see what was going on. About 5-6 really drunk dudes were in the middle of the street dancing and singing along to the songs. It was a lot more entertaining then it sounds. Curse my blackberry for not having a video mode.

At around 3:30ish I decided to call it a night and got a cab ride back to the place that I’m staying. The end.
